Our people
Just like every heritage railway, the Heritage Railway Association is about people more than anything else. The HRA has a small but hugely experienced team of dedicated professional staff, enhanced by experts from the sector who give up their time on a voluntary basis to benefit members.
President - Lord Faulkner of Worcester
Although the role of President is an honorary role, Lord Faulkner has a wealth of heritage rail knowledge and provides a valuable link with Westminster.
Board
Some of the most experienced and innovative Chairs, Chief Executives and General Managers of heritage railways and tramways in the UK sit on the HRA Board.
Executive Team
The HRA's role is to deliver what is required by members to help them be more productive and succesful. Our small executive team is dedicated to achieving this.
Committees
The heritage rail sector has an extraordinary array of knowledge and expertise in its midst. The HRA has a number of committees to ensure that expertise can be accessed and used for the benefit of members.
