Destination Marketing is a full-service marketing agency which specialise in working with visitor attractions around the UK assisting with varying scales of marketing requirements. We are currently working with a number of different heritage railways assisting with marketing needs completely bespoke to them. Our services include, but aren't limited to: - Management & Consultancy - Websites - PR - Social Media - Advertising (Both Digital & Traditional) - Graphic Design - Events

Partnering Reason

We want to join the HRA for a few reasons. We currently have a couple of heritage railway as clients, with South Devon being the longer serving. We believe in the development of heritage railways both in conservation but also from an attraction point of view and attempting to get as many people to visit the sites as possible. We work hard to ensure that the brand of clients are correct and have seen that heritage railways there is a big opportunity to help the many people within the association with their own marketing requirements (however big or small) especially as we now have some decent experience and success within the industry. We have been apart of different associations before and have been committed members, including being sponsors, exhibitors or in raising the profile of the association.

Partnering Benefits

We are motivated to helping heritage railway sites understand their potential and this comes through the means of marketing. A big KPI we have with the railways we work with is through footfall (ticket sales) and branding, if you can improve both of these things then it allows space for the railways to grow. We work with a couple of railways from the association but we would love the opportunity to see if there's more out there that need the extra help and consultancy, whether it be a small touch of marketing or full-service. We tailor each marketing plan to the specific destination and understand that not every railway works in the same way, but that we have enough experience to navigate any situation. We are an affordable agency and prove to be much cheaper than railways doing their marketing in house.
