The HRA Annual Awards and Dinner sponsored by Hallett Steam Oils, celebrate all that is great in heritage rail and, with entries from across the sector, the Awards honour the outstanding achievements of railways, tramways, cliff railways, rolling stock groups and heritage rail people.
The Evening
Featuring welcome drinks, a fabulous three-course meal, a guest speaker and 16 prestigious awards to the brightest and best that heritage rail has to offer, the HRA Dinner & Awards Night sponsored by Hallett Steam Oils is rightly recognised as the main event of the year for heritage rail staff, volunteers and the Who’s Who of our industry. It’s also a terrific opportunity to gather, meet old friends, make new ones, and simply be bowled over by some of the best of the great work that members do.
Guest Speaker
Our guest speaker is Bonnie Price, the current vice-chair – and chair-elect - of Young Rail Professionals. As heritage railways strive to increase skills and attract more young people, Bonnie is expected to talk about the valuable role that young people play in all aspects of the UK’s railway industry – including heritage rail - and about the opportunities that working in rail present for anyone starting a career.
